Accessible, understandable self-guided resource tools. Through short videos and convenient webpages, our resources guide busy business leaders step-by-step through various components of tax education, business practices, and manageable policies.
One-on-one or group coaching sessions, which engage participants in building capacity, understanding, and answering the specific questions they have.
Training for coaches and technical assistance providers who want to go deeper on specific topics.
In some cases, our tools are automated. For example, here is a tool we developed with the Wisconsin Early Childhood Association to help small business owners self-assess their business tax returns. Another tool that we’ve created will help you select the right type of retirement plan for your business.
The Thrive Pathway© Coaching system and certification
The Thrive Pathway©, Civitas Strategies’ proven variable dosage coaching system, allows business owners to strengthen their understanding of their business operating system resulting in more resilient, sustainable practices.
The Pathway covers an array of topics such as:
Budgeting and cashflow
Marketing, pricing, and enrollment
Recruiting and retaining staff
Understanding business taxes and preparation
Growing a business
After completing the Thrive Pathway© Coach training, coaches can apply for certification, a career investment that builds coaching skills and confidence while providing valuable support to child care providers. The certification process includes submitting three recorded coaching sessions, which will be reviewed by our team of master coaches using our field-tested rubric. Coaching Certification is valid for two years and recertification is available through a simple process.
